Our quiet and warm family house "Josette" of 200 m² with its large garden is located in a quiet street in a residential area of northern Toulouse.
Downtown and railway station "Matabiau" are 10 minutes away
The house has 4 bedrooms for up to 8 people.
The house has the cachet of typical Toulouse's houses from the 1920s. This is Anne and Pierre family home which they have renovated with love. Josette is their mother's name.
On the ground floor, access to the house is done through a spacious entrance, leading to a living room with fireplace.
The living room overlooks a large anv very well equipped kitchen and a sunroom in which you'll find a billiard table.
The sunroom opens to south and west on the garden with it's wooden terrace where you'll find garden furniture and a barbecue.
On the ground floor, you will also have a bathroom with toilet.
On the first floor, 3 bedrooms are waiting for you, each with it's double bed 140cm.
Near the bedrooms, you will appreciate the large bathroom with tub and shower and the separate toilet.
On the second floor, you enter Anne's childhood dream of transforming the attic of her home into a bedroom. You will love the attic equipped with a double bed 160cm and a bathroom with toilet.
Wifi internet access is free as well as the phone to the landlines of several countries.
The TV receives many channels provided by Orange.
You can easily park 2 cars (Anne and Pierre sometimes manage to park 3 cars 🙂 ) on the street side of the property.
Shops are close: bakery, pharmacy, laundry, tobacco / press, mini markets, ....
Several restaurants are within walking distance.
A bike rental station and bus stops are in the immediate vicinity.

Fifth stay
We have just returned from a lovely holiday on rue bourdon. This was our fifth stay in Toulouse staying at this lovely house. It has everything you need to enjoy Toulouse. This time we visited the Basilica of Sant Sernin and the many beautiful churches of architectural importance. We also took the train to Narbonne for the day. The station is only a 10 minute bus ride away and we have already visited Albi and Carcassonne on several occasions. We have eaten in the many good restaurants in Toulouse including the Byblos, the Pyraneen and the excellent Emile in St George's Place. Anne and Olivier are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed the excellent bottle of wine they left for us to welcome us. We can certainly recommend this lovely house and look forward to returning for our sixth visit.

Nous venons de passer de belles vacances rue bourdon. C'était notre cinquième séjour à Toulouse dans cette charmante maison. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour profiter de Toulouse. We moved with the whole family (7 people) into the beautiful house Maison Ô Josette owned by Anne and Olivier Rives for a week. It was cozy and beautifully decorated, some areas told the story of how things used to be. The kitchen, dining room, living area, terrace and garden are very well equipped and big enough for 7-8 people. The fact that it has 3 bathrooms is a great plus, we liked our 4 bedrooms, they were designed with love. The location is good, quiet, you can easily go shopping (always fresh bread from the bakery 🙂 You should use the bus connection into town and - if possible - leave the car at the house. So, we were very satisfied, felt comfortable and would be happy to come back.

This was our fourth visit to Josette's House and once again we had a brilliant time. We love the house as it us so comfortable with good bathroom facilities and a lovely garden in which to enjoy the nice weather. It is also in a calm, quiet area. Anne and Olivier are excellent hosts who provided us with a delicious cassoulet to eat. This is the traditional meal in Toulouse (though not suitable for vegetarians !)
We visited Albi and Carcassone by train as the station is only a 10 minute bus ride away. The bus stop is at the end of the street and it is so easy to get into the centre. You do not need a car. Toulouse has wonderful museums and parks and restaurants and there is so much to do.We will definitely return for a fifth time!

We moved into the house on February 1st and stayed there for over 3 months, 2 of which were in lockdown, it's a foolproof test 🙂
The home is great, and I use the word home because we felt "at home" there. To name just a few highly appreciated points:
- all the rooms are spacious (some are even huge) and tastefully furnished
- a bathroom and 2 shower rooms allow you to avoid traffic jams at peak times
- very good bedding,
- competitive WIFI (teleworking required)
- very well-equipped kitchen with high-end household appliances
- private parking for at least 2 cars, which is VERY appreciable in the center of Toulouse
- very close to all amenities, buses ...
Not to mention the great kindness of the owner, Mrs. Rives, the neighbors ...
Everything was there to live through this difficult period in the best conditions.

We were looking for a house with 4 other friends to go visit one of our friends who moved to Toulouse a few years ago and became parents last month.
After many failures and dissatisfaction on sites like Airbnb, Abritel or Homelidays (on which I was even charged 1600€ for a house that was not available ...) we found ourselves close to our deadline even though we had started our search 2 months earlier.
Anyway, it was at this moment that I retreated to leboncoin where I found this house. I contacted the owner who called me back almost immediately. Finally a serious person who does not rent wind and who informs in a more than exhaustive way of the characteristics of the rental.
Kind enough to make us a contract 3 days before the departure date, so we were able to confirm our trip to our Toulouse friends a little at the last minute who were therefore very happy because it was not won.
In any case, no surprises, or at least no bad ones 🙂 everything is extremely well detailed, there is even a very complete guide on everything there is to know about the house but also about the city of Toulouse and the amenities on site, it is very appreciable.
The owner being unavailable on the day of our arrival, it is a very kind gentleman who welcomed us on site and showed us around the place before giving us the keys.
Very sincerely I am rather insensitive to the prettiness of the architecture or decoration of a house favoring as much as possible the purely functional aspect of the layout, the location of the house and what is provided to live.
Well, we have to admit that even if the house was obviously well located (bakery 100m away for example), perfectly arranged in our case (4 bedrooms = 4 couples and 3 bathrooms) and very well equipped (barbecue, billiards, equipped kitchen) it was also very charming.
I think I understood that it had been renovated in order to be rented. In any case, it is a very beautiful house, very bright, comfortable and in a well-controlled style.
We had to go through some setbacks to find it but it was unanimous in our group of friends (even for the Toulouse residents who were able to stay and sleep there).
We certainly do not regret our choice and we thank the owner and her friend who welcomed us for their kindness and seriousness.

Apres de nombreux échecs et insatisfactions sur des sites comme Airbnb, Abritel ou Homelidays (sur lequel j'ai même été débité de 1600€ pour une maison non disponible ...) nous nous sommes retrouvés proche de notre date butoir quand bien même nous avions commencé nos recherches 2 mois plus tot.
Quoi qu'il en soit c'est ce moment que je me suis retranché sur leboncoin sur lequel j'ai trouvé cette maison. J'ai contacté la propriétaire qui m'a rappelé quasiment aussitot. Enfin une personne sérieuse qui ne loue pas de vent et qui informe de manière plus qu'exhaustive des caractéristiques de la location.
Assez gentille pour nous faire un contrat 3 jours avant la date de départ, nous avons donc pu confirmer notre voyage a nos amis toulousains un peu a la dernière minute qui étaient donc très heureux car c'etait pas gagné.
En tout cas, aucune suprise, ou du moins aucun mauvaises 🙂 tout est extremêment bien détaillé, il y a même un guide très complet sur tout ce qu'il y a a savoir sur la maison mais aussi sur la ville de toulouse et les commodités sur place, c'est très appréciable.
La proriétaire étant indisponible le jour de notre arrivé c'est un monsieur très gentil qui nous accueilli sur place et nous a fait visité les lieux avant de nous en donner les clés.
Très sincèrement je ne suis plutot insensible à la joliesse de l'architecture ou de la décoration d'une maison privillégiant autant que possible l'aspect purement fonctionnel de l'agencement, la localisation de la maison et ce qui est fourni pour vivre.
Et bien force est de reconnaître que même si la maison était evidemment bien située (boulangerie a 100m par exemple), parfaitement agencée dans notre cas (4 chambres = 4 couples et 3 salles de bain) et très bien fournie (barbecue, billard, cuisine équipée) et bien elle était aussi très charmante.
Je crois avoir compris qu'elle avait été rénovée afin d'être louée. En tout cas, c'est une très belle maison très lumineuse, confortable et dans un style bien maîtrisé.
Il a fallu passer par certaines contrariétés pour la trouver mais elle a fait l'unanimité dans notre groupe d'amis (même pour les toulousains sur place qui ont pu rester dormir dedans).
Nous ne regrettons donc certainement pas notre choix et nous remercions la propriétaire et son ami qui nous ont reçu pour leur gentillesse et leur sérieux.

This was our third stay at Rue Bourdon with three friends who were new to the house. We all had a great time. the House is very comfortable with three showers and a bath. It has a lovely garden for eating breakfast and dinner and enjoying a glass of wine. The bus takes you to the town centre in ten minutes. Anne and Olivier are wonderful hosts and we were given plenty of information about Toulouse. We also enjoyed the wonderful cassoulet they had Jean Louis prepare for us. Toulouse is a great city with plenty to see and great restaurants. We also visited Carcassonne and Albi by train. I would definitely recommend the house !

Sunny autumn in Toulouse on the Canal du Midi
We spent varied days in October in their great house with two families (7 people). Although we only arrived around midnight, we were warmly welcomed by the landlords. The house is quietly located in a single-family home area, the garden with a large table also invites you to eat outside, the house and the bathrooms are tastefully renovated and furnished. The dining room with a large table flowed into a well-equipped kitchen and so cooking together was fun. The evening highlight was the pool table. We are happy to recommend the house. Instead of renting a car, we rented bikes and were able to move around Toulouse and the surrounding area flexibly. The bike tour along the Canal Midi in the autumn sun was particularly beautiful. Mit zwei Familien (7 Personen) haben wir abwechslungsreiche Tage im Oktober in ihrem tollen Haus verbracht. Obwohl wir erst gegen Mitternacht ankamen, wurden wir warmherzig von den Vermietern empfangen. Das Haus ist ruhig in einer Einfamilienhaus Gegend gelegen, der Garten mit großen Tisch lädt auch zum draussen Essen ein, das Haus und die Bäder sind geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Das Esszimmer mit großen Tisch und gut ausgestatteter Küche gingen ineinander über und so machte gemeinsames Kochen Spaß. Abendliches Highlight war der Billardtisch. Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter. Statt Mietauto haben wir Fahrräder gemietet und konnten uns flexibel in Toulouse und Umgebung bewegen. Besonders schön war die Fahrradtour entlang des Canal Midi in der Herbstsonne. Danke für diesen Tipp.

Charming house and garden in Toulouse
This was our second visit to this charming house and once again we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed visiting the beautiful sites of Toulouse and the many restaurants. It was relaxing to come back after a day and sit and drink wine in the beautiful garden. The bakery near the house is superb and we visited it every morning! We took the train to Albi and Carcassonne from the train station. You don't need a car to stay at this house as the bus stop is at the top of the road and it takes you into the centre in ten minutes. Anne and Pierre are lovely hosts and we appreciated the gift of wine and cheese. Patricia the housekeeper is also very helpful. The house is very comfortable and with three showers and a bath it easily catered for our party of four. I would highly recommend the house and we will definitely be returning in the future!

C'était notre deuxième visite dans cette charmante maison et encore une fois nous avons passé un moment merveilleux. Nous avons aimé visiter les beaux sites de Toulouse et les nombreux restaurants. Vous n'avez pas besoin d'une voiture pour rester dans cette maison car l'arrêt de bus est en haut de la rue et il vous emmène dans le centre en dix minutes. The house is situated in a nice neighbourhood, just a 10 min. bus ride away from the lovely city centre of Toulouse (with the bus stop just around the corner we didn't use our car for a week!). For families with children like ourselves, or for those who like peace and quiet, while still being very close to the city, this house truly offers the best of both worlds: very spacious and calm - with a lovely and well maintained garden - and still close to shops, restaurants, etc.
We are especially grateful to Mrs. Rives and her colleague Patricia for the warm welcome (thank you for the flowers!) and their precious assistance before our arrival. Thanks to their thoughtfulness and friendliness, this stay really felt like being home abroad!

Lovely,spacious house and garden
We had a wonderful time in Toulouse staying at this lovely house. The kitchen is very well-equipped and there are three showers and a bath - easily enough for our group of five. Toulouse centre is only ten minutes by bus ( No . 38 ) The Boulangerie just around the corner sells fabulous bread and pastries and after visiting there each morning we enjoyed our breakfast back at the house in the sunny garden. As well as visiting the marvellous basilica of Saint Sernin in Toulouse, the Cathedral and the Salle des Illustres in the Capitole we also caught a train to Albi one day to see the amazing Basilica of Saint Cecilia covered in frescoes and visited the Toulouse - Lautrec museum. Another day we caught a train to Carcassonne. The house is only ten minutes by bus from the station so we did not need a car.Toulouse centre has plenty of restaurants where we ate and drank each evening.The owners of the house, Anne and Pierre were very welcoming and gave us lots of information. We look forward to returning !

This house is highly recommended! Communication with Mme. Rives beforehand was always quick and the reception by Patricia was warm. Both left nothing to be desired in terms of information. The clean, well-kept house itself corresponds in every detail to the pictures. The kitchen, media and bathroom equipment even went beyond that. The location is quiet in a residential area, with good connections to the city center via public transport, including the night bus. Everything you need for daily needs can be reached within 10 minutes on foot.
Our family (8 adults, 1 small child) spent a wonderful, relaxing week there. The fact that the house is a bit noisy didn't bother us in this context. And when there was loud music at the birthday party, no neighbors knocked. We couldn't have wished for anything better.

Dieses Haus ist wärmstens zu empfehlen! Die Kommunikation mit Mme. Rives im Vorfeld war immer zügig und der Empfang durch Patricia herzlich. Beides ließ nichts an Information zu wünschen übrig. Das saubere, gepflegte Haus selbst entspricht in allen Einzelheiten den Bildern. Die Küchen-, Medien- und Badausstattung ging sogar noch darüber hinaus. Die Lage ist ruhig in einem Villenviertel, mit einer guten Innenstadtanbindung durch den ÖPNV, inkl. Nachtbus. Alles für den täglichen Bedarf ist innerhalb von 10 min. zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Unsere Familie (8 Erwachsene, 1 kl. Kind) hat eine wunderbare, erholsame Woche dort verbracht. Dass das Haus etwas hellhörig ist, störte in diesem Zusammenhang also nicht. Und als es zur Geburtstagsfeier laute Musik gab, klopfte auch kein Nachbar. Besser hätten wir es nicht wünschen können.

I stayed with my business partners for 5 days while watching the Euros 2016 football tournament that were in town.
From the start the owner was VERY friendly and accommodating. She broke the language barriers with translation and great communication.
The booking process was simple and very straight forward.
Great communication throughout the whole time.
The house it self is very comfortable and functional and we did not want for anything. It was spotlessly clean extremely well presented great decor and truly a home from home experience.
There is ample space and plenty of bathrooms and shower rooms to suit the largest of groups. The Garden was well maintained and a great sun trap to catch the early morning rays when eating your breakfast on the patio / decking area. The bonus of the pool table gave us hours of fun when we returned each evening after a day of fun in Toulouse city centre.
Location is perfect you are meters from the main road where the buses number 37 & 38 take you straight into town for 1.6 euro’s and it takes around 10 mins. Buses are very regular and we did not have to wait more than 15 mins. Taxi was 15 euro’s after midnight so very local and central.
There is an array of shops and supermarkets all within 10 mins walking distance. I have to mention the local bakery called ‘Artisan Boulanover Pastissier Chocolatier’ it’s a must to try, every morning we bought pastries and fresh bread and my word was it good. So good there is a small queue of locals all waiting to buy their offerings. Everything we tasted was sublime.
The house has secure parking for security, it’s in a great area where the locals are so friendly and very very helpful, we always got a good morning good afternoon or good evening no matter whom we bumped into.
I am looking to return to this wonderful house with my family it was that good. I really can’t praise this property enough from the owner Anne and Yolanda the house manager down to the cleanliness of the place and the well presented fresh clean towels upon arrival it truly was a splendid stay in Toulouse and a great property to rent. 11 Bourdon rue is PERFECT in every aspect and comes highly recommended.

we rented this house for a week on the occasion of the French Scrabble championships, 3 couples and an individual, all loved this pleasant house, large volumes, beautiful kitchen very well equipped, comfortable bedrooms, everyone slept well thanks to the calm of the neighborhood and the impeccable bedding and enjoyed the three bathrooms, the veranda with the billiards were appreciated. the good weather allowed us to have lunch on the terrace, it was really pleasant.
Thank you to Yolande for her welcome and her dishes prepared at our request, hearty cassoulet, gratin dauphinois and strawberry tarts.

nous avons loué cette maison une semaine à l'occasion des championnats de France de Scrabble, 3 couples et un individuel, tous ont aimé cette agréable maison, grands volumes, belle cuisine très bien équipée, les chambres confortables, tout le monde a bien dormi grâce au calme du quartier et à la literie impeccable et profité des trois salles de bains, la véranda avec le billard ont été appréciés.le beau temps nous a permis de déjeuner sur la terrasse, c'était vraiment agréable.

Large and beautiful house with quality renovation
We felt very good in this large, spacious, functional and warm house at the same time. We appreciated the quality renovation, the refined decoration very much in tune with the times, the parquet floors upstairs, the three bathrooms, everything was perfect for three couples of friends who met up for a weekend. A RARE "URBAN GITE"
Three couples of friends wanted to discover Toulouse.
A fourth couple, from Toulouse, wanted to host them but their house was not big enough. In addition, it was necessary to accommodate all these people (eight adults) in the city in order to limit as much as possible the useless trips.
There was also the problem of parking three vehicles.
A headache... Until the magic of the internet made us discover this beautiful urban gîte: a large entrance, four real bedrooms (including a lovely room in the attic), three shower rooms (including a large and splendid bathroom), a magnificent and spacious "living space" on the ground floor, with a fireplace, a piano, a billiard table (!!!)..., a perfectly equipped kitchen, a toilet on each level (including a separate toilet), a sunny terrace not overlooked, a pleasant garden and a courtyard on the street, large enough to park three cars.
Without a doubt, a rare "product" in Toulouse intra-muros.
Especially since the whole house is decorated with great taste.
In short, this house perfectly met the expectations of eight seniors, demanding and experienced, whose cohabitation was greatly facilitated by the layout and the pleasantness of the place.
Let us also point out an important detail: the bedding is very good, including that of the convertible BZ that we personally occupied.
It is a beautiful house that one feels "inhabited". Its history and its experience appear everywhere, but modernity has also passed by there.
What good times, this house has given us.
What beautiful walks we were able to take daily in the city center thanks to the location of this urban lodging and that, without taking our cars once.
It must be said that the bus line n ° 38 is quite suitable, including in the evening and even on Sundays.
Our week was very successful, despite average weather.
Our friends visiting Toulouse are full of praise, both for the city and for this gîte which is particularly appreciated by all.
PS: the seafood restaurant (but not only that…), right next to the house, is highly recommended.

Trois couples d'amis souhaitaient découvrir Toulouse.
Un quatrième couple, des toulousains, voulait les accueillir mais leur maison n'était pas assez grande. De plus, il fallait loger tout ce monde (soit huit adultes) en ville afin de limiter le plus possible les déplacements sans intérêt.
Se posait également le problème du stationnement de trois véhicules.
Casse-tête... Jusqu'à ce que la magie d'internet nous fasse découvrir ce beau gîte urbain : une grande entrée, quatre vraies chambres (dont une ravissante pièce dans les combles), trois salles d'eau (dont une grande et splendide salle de bain), un magnifique et spacieux "espace à vivre" au rez-de-chaussée, avec une cheminée, un piano, un billard (!!!)..., une cuisine parfaitement équipée, un WC à chaque niveau (dont un WC indépendant), une terrasse bien exposée et sans vis à vis, un agréable jardin et une cour sur rue, suffisamment grande pour garer trois voitures.
Sans aucun doute, un "produit" rare à Toulouse intra-muros.
D'autant plus que toute la maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût.
Bref, cette maison a parfaitement répondu aux attentes de huit seniors, exigeants et expérimentés, dont la cohabitation a été amplement favorisée par la disposition et l'agrément des lieux.
Signalons également un détail d'importance : les literies sont très bonnes, y compris celle du convertible BZ que nous occupions personnellement.
C'est une belle maison que l'on sent "habitée". Son histoire et son vécu apparaissent partout, mais la modernité est aussi passée par là.
Que de bons moments, cette maison nous a procurés.
Que de belles balades nous avons pu faire quotidiennement en centre-ville grâce à l'emplacement de ce gîte urbain et cela, sans prendre une seule fois nos voitures.
Il faut dire que la ligne de bus n° 38 est tout à fait adaptée, y compris en soirée et même le dimanche.
Notre semaine a été très réussie, malgré une météo moyenne.
Nos amis visiteurs de Toulouse ne tarissent pas d'éloge, tant sur la ville que sur ce gîte particulièrement apprécié de tous.
PS : le restaurant de fruits de mer (mais pas que…), tout à côté de la maison, est vivement recommandé.
