Bonneval-sur-Arc is a village-resort, classified in the “most beautiful villages of France”. This is where the film “Belle and Sebastian” was shot between 2013 and 2018. We lodged with us some members of the production. All winter sports are accessible from Bonneval-sur-Arc or the surrounding area for most of the year: downhill skiing from December to April, cross-country skiing from November to April, alpine ski touring from November to June, summer skiing in June and July, …
Downhill skiing and freeride
From the very beginner to the freeride enthusiast, everyone can get happy here. We are far from the factory-resorts. There is no waiting at the ski lifts, even during the highest season.
The chairlift start is 200 m walk, the easiest slopes 100 m.
The resort altitude vary between 1850 and 3000 meters above sea level. From the top of the chairlift “Le 3000”, 1150 meters of elevation await your ski tips.
Our guests come for the authenticity of the village or its cheese factory, the blue slopes at 3000 or the off-piste area, the blue sky of Maurienne or the flare in the evening, the view of the wild mountain or the restaurant at the Ecot hamlet. Anyway, you come back. Thank you !
The ski resort is open from mid-December to the end of April.
Snow is always good, including early and late in the season. It is quite often the most snowy resort in France; Check out the skiinfo snow history page on the skiinfo website.
Lift rates are here.
If you want to register your children at the ski school or find an instructor to escort you off-piste, see the website of the French Ski School (ESF).
